  Forførende og rik på nese med flotte gule epler og med et lett slør av blomster som gir harmoni opp av glasset. Også et hint av petroleum. Dette er erketypisk for sitt område.
  
  Konsentrert og ganske kompleks med stor og saftig gul frukt som vokser fint i munnen. Syren holder et litt vel grep i vinen og den fine utgangen er lett bitende med noe grønt gress, litt bitter grapefrukt, og skiferstein.

  VDP- Tour Grosse Lage 2017 (Hotel Atlantic, Hamburg): The next Kirchspiel from this fine vineyard, compared to the Keller and Wittmann this is a very good sample, very tight on the midpalate, creamy, with some depth of delicious yellow fruit, ending yummi and long, give it some 3-5+ years, **(*+), 89-92+?

  Blind tasting of a number of Grosse Gewächse. An appealing herbal spiciness as well as some more exotic aromas on the nose. Ripe stone fruits and mineral notes move up quickly, too. Much extract, lots of pressure and a nice flow on the palate are combined with flavors of spicy tobacco, slate, ripe stone fruits and lots of herbal spiciness. Vivid acid and medium-bodied. Long-lasting aftertaste.Blind tasting of a number of Grosse Gewächse. An appealing herbal spiciness as well as some more exotic aromas on the nose. Blindverkostung von Großen Gewächsen. Einladende Kräuterwürze und exotische Noten. Dann reifes Steinobst und Mineralik. Am Gaumen ebenfalls extraktreich, mit viel Kräuterwürze und pikanter, tabakiger Würze, Schiefer und reifem Steinobst. Schöner Trinkfluss und ordentlich Druck am Gaumen. Langer Abgang.
