Wow, what a difference compared to the reticent bottle about 2.5 years ago. Here, I was instantly greeted with a nose of high toned minerals and wild berry preserves. On the palate, a weightless melange of berry fruit with well integrated medium+ acidity. The finish was long, with some grippy tannin and a little shaved chocolate making an appearance. The harmony and sheer beauty is striking. Hard to put down the glass.

I got glimpses of good raw materials, but quite subdued on day 1 and then faded on day 2. Hard to tell whether stuck in a dumb phase, or if this just won't be one to write home about. Will wait at least a few years to try other bottle.

A very enjoyable bottle of red Burgundy. On open, fruit was somewhat backed off and acidity was predominant. First thing, started to think ... why did I buy two of these?
Didn't take long, however, before the huge mouth coating fruits took over and worked in tandem with the acid to deliver a lovely Pinot Noir experience. Tannins are very fine but not subtle, leaving a pleasant drying counterpoint to the ripe fruits.
This wine is rich, full, delicious, and the flavors linger long. Remarkable at this price point, I think. The longer this bottle is open, the bigger it gets!
A delightfully well balanced bottle now and I would think it will mature some for a few years yet. Drink window states to 2032, can't verify but someone else is thinking this wine is in for the long haul.
