Light to medium bodied with some acidity, but also with some fruit to the taste. A perfect fit for my taste - especially to this price. It is definately ready to drink, but the colour and taste shows no sign of being “over the top”.

Brilliant ruby with some transpancy. Blackberries on the nose with some garrique and mint. Palate is structured with dark berries, plenty of acid still, a Terasses in its prime. Some marcipan on the medium finish. Will keep for another 5 years.

This was acceptable for $15, some good fruit and earth, but I'm not getting the QPR monster that some are describing. It was pretty and well-balanced, and felt like real wine for the price, just not very expressive, a little dull and simple.
Fairly reticent nose on night 1- some vague red plum or something with a touch of earthy herbal nuance. By day two the nose was a lot better- much more present with a slightly darker warm plummy grenache thing and a little pop of something like leather, as well as red licorice. More fun, never really exciting but it is what it is.
Palate stayed the same throughout, just more gentle plum or raspberry fruit with some good medium acidity, nicely lifted without being tart. Gentle tannins, although at times a little chalky, even for this 5 year old value wine. It's good but when compared to say, Bastide Miraflors for the same price, it falls short (even though one could argue this has slightly better-balanced acidity.) Everything about this is too "medium" for me.

Classical Soutern Rhone. But very round and smooth acid and tannins. The fruit shows good viscosity. Good aged wine. Time to drink though.
