  • Compared with Artemia 2015: pleasing but a bit flabby, lacks a bit of structure. Very good QPR (bought at 7.5 €)

  • Very nice. Good tastes evolve if you’re willing to wait four plus years before drinking.

  • Please see my 7/25/22 tasting note also. This bottle was still dark purple, but had a bit of a nose of woodyness (is that a word?), which is why I have upped the rating from 80 to 82. As an aside, I did not have COVID 7/25/22, and don't have it today for this tasting. Some fruit, but not much. Again, not a bad wine, just not a spectacular wine. It is not overly sweet, a defect that I am encountering more and more these days in moderately priced wines, both red and white.

  • First glass, no decant, 30 minutes standing in bottle.
A spritely nose of cherries and strawberries flits to the fore-palate, juicily grows through the mid-palate, and finishes with a slightly tarry pepper encrusted dark chocolate finish. More medium than heavy on the body, dry, and the tannins maintain a delectable shimmer on the back end, but otherwise have integrated very well.
This is in its prime and went very well with Zankou Chicken. It could perhaps continue in fine form until 2027.

    Day 2
The finish has gotten more leathery, and a savory note takes hold mid-palate on. The cherries are still resplendent. Held up nicely.

  • v nice red blend which as someone pointed out sure does modulate over time

started out pointedly spritzy, the way some reds do, a bit strangely, to throw one off

then (and the next days) that wanes and the wine becomes complex and pleasing with different foods

    (weak vague review, sorry!)
