Drank this at a wine dinner with my wine mates at Kam Boat Teochew Restaurant. Theme of the evening: Wines that start with the letter Y.
Dark brooding purple with complex notes of dark spices, ripe berries, cedar, solid timber, and fresh plums, with a lingering finish. Almost Bordeaux-like on the nose, despite this being a Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz blend. After an hour or so that mocha, milk chocolate and red fruits become more pronounced. Yummy!
Always favour wines that presents layers and dimensions, and this wine is exactly that. Fantastic!

Black pepper, cranberry (but not sour), dense red color. Drinking nicely now, should last several more years. I’ll save my remaining bottle a few more years.
Wish I had deferred drinking the rest of that case longer. Need to stick to my 10 year guideline!

92 points and in a very good spot right now. Dark red, leaning purple in the glass with a big nose & ample legs that take 45+ seconds to run down. Medium to full body with fine tannins and a tame acidity. The wine is smooth & easy to drink with notes of dark red & blue fruit supported by sweet chocolate, cedar & vanilla. A well-crafted Cab/Shiraz blend that drinks above it's price point. I will look for more of these. Terrific value.

Blinded this on some family members, with pretty good results. Some guessed Cabernet Sauv, some guessed Syrah. Some guessed new world, some guessed old world. One even guessed CS and Syrah blend! In any case, I found this to be quite restrained but flavorful, as I was half-expecting more of an Aussie fruit bomb. Actually was nicely balanced and detailed with good acidity and good use of oak that seems to be integrated now. Everyone enjoyed this. Agree with the previous note to drink now and in the next few years.

Slow oxed at The Greenock. Beautiful, minty nose with creme de cassis, black currants, baking spice and vanillin oak. Medium-bodied, this is taut with crisp acids. Quite good and very youthful, but I’m not sure this will age much past 15. Drink now-2029 92
