  • Dark purple red, moderate earthy, plummy aroma, moderate dark fruit, some spice and earthy complexity which make an inexpensive wine terrific value. Total winner.

  • Odd wine, I think I may have missed it's prime. Garnet in color but very light. VERY odd nose that I can't quite pin-point. I'd say earthy, floral and fruited. Taste is dominated by cranberry and strawberry with faint mineral qualities - reminds me of something Ocean Spray would put out. Fairly short finish and light to medium body.

Wish I would have gotten into this sooner, won't be searching for any more. I'd say 78 points, but I don't want to rate as I didn't give it a fair shot - drinking past it's prime.

  • Blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Tempranillo. A tad too hot (prominant alcohol), but otherwise a decent bargain red wine.

  • Sour cherry and spice aromas, more sour cherry on the palate. Dry with medium-high acidity, ripe tannins, and full body.

  • Surprisingly good for a $6 wine ($5.49 actually)...consumed over 3 days - and it held up okay with minimal fading on day 3! Color is bright ruby. Clearly garnacha - red fruits dominate with slight earth and a hint of violets. Medium bodied and straight forward drinking with no hard edges. Respectable structure and tannins without the finish bite I expected in a wine this cheap. Good for drinking now and over the next couple years. Neither cloying nor over-oaked. I won't be stocking up, but for a good go-to wine that costs as much as a bucket of KFC, I can't complain.
