La Rosa 10 year vertical on Zoom with Fabio Bosio. Drank in Conterno Sensory. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with thin watery garnet rim. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of stony minerality, chalk powder, tar, florals, red cherries. Developing. Classic feels. On the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol, high tannins, full body. Meidum+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sweet red cherries, red plum, licorice, tarry earth, chalk powder stones, chestnutty oak. Long finish. Very good quality. Oaky yes, but has deep classic substance to back it up. Needs more age.

Medium garnet colour. Medium and developing nose with strawberry, black pepper, liquorice, leather, wet leaves and forest floor. Pronounced taste of strawberry, black pepper, liquorice, leather, wet leaves and forest floor. Medium long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Full body. A very good Barolo that is still too young. Drink in five to ten years time. Goes well with beef or lamb.

Pale ruby in colour. Medium plus intensity on the nose. Red currant, red cherry, fresh pomegranate, very pure fruit. Some flinty notes and perfumed red rose petals. Sweet spices, cloves and dry herbs. High acidity, high tannins for sure. The fruit is precise, intense and inviting. The finish is medium plus. Delicious!
