  • Straw coloured with a yellow accent.

Restrained nose of citrus (grapefruit to the fore), some subtle savoury notes (a hint of butter & bacon) and also a smidgen of nettle.

On the palate, again assertive citrus to the fore, carried on nice bright acidity. Some complexity appears on the finish, which makes up for a modest intensity, with great persistency.

Suspect this has a good few years left.

  • Drank after dinner last night with my wife... Golden yellow color...Austere wine, minerals and some citrus on the palate, good amount of acid...could have used a bit more fruit to my liking...

  • I don't know, this just didn't do it for me. A hard, lean Rully. It's rare in Burgundy to geat great fruit. Terrior driven to the extreme is Burgundy sometimes. Don't get me wrong, the wine was solid.
    I was hoping for more.
