Mongeard-Mugneret and friends (London Borough of Bromley): Green apple - but not as aggressively so as one can find in ESW. There's a material core to it, something going on. Over time the bruised / over ripe apple character grows. Decent stuff but at £40ish - doesn't pass the Roederer Collection test.

88 now, future 90+. Great breadth and concentration, but way too tangy. Needs a few more years to soften. Kentish fizz to celebrate finishing some exams (no results yet, but let's not think about that) 🍾
Nosel: Broad shouldered, intense bruised crab apple, cooked sour Granny Smith apple sauce. Underlying depth, baking spice and toastiness.
Pal: Very sour attack, on the vintage dry cider side of ESW. Good concentration of red apple, subtle buttered apple tart texture, and a savoury depth. Angular and a bit disjointed, maybe needs a few more years to soften and round out.
Fin: Long, yeasty, old nuts and uplifting.

Extremely tangy, this - green apple, citrus. Good length but slightly too acid for my constitution.
