Really great again, and shows what Niellon does when correct in context of the Chaumees that was oxidized on same table. Pinnacle at this level for white Burgundy that doesn't cost as much as a mortgage payment. Subtle smoke/matchstick notes, along with mint/herbal notes on the nose. Clean white fruit and abundant rocky/stonty/flinty essence. Just so lively with minerality for days. An airy, stony, minty note coats the palate. Terrific. Youthful.

A Good Saturday: Mostly Burgundy (Decatur, GA): Can't ask for much more at this level white Burgundy. Really excellent. Hints of smoke/matchstick on the nose. Clean white fruit and green apple with minerality for days. Oily texture that coats the palate. Terrific. Youthful.

Afternoon wine down at Maison Dakota. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Apperance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of toast oak, rich citrus lemon, honey oil, pretty florals, underlying minerality that comes to the fore with more air - showcasing wet stones minerality and pushing the oak to the background. Developing. On the palate, dry, lovely high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of chalky limestone, salty wet stones minerality, sweet cream peaches, rich citrus lemon, honey oil, toast oak with a hint of butter that integrates and fades with air. Added dimension of green melon and sweet limes with more air. Long finish. Very good quality. Rich and rather full. Lovely substance. Another 5-6 years of development ahead at least.
