Still a bit unformed on the first day. The constituent parts are all there, but they need more time to integrate. The new oak is clearly present but not overpowering, there is good concentration of ripe citrus and stone fruit, balance and tension are exemplary, drive and length are fine. Too young, but a very fine Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru in the making. Drink 2025-2035. More harmonious on the second day, good oak integration, showing its class and a lovely terroir expression.

Waterford Wine Co. Burgundy Festival (Waterford Wine Co. - Milwaukee WI): Walk around tasting. Ripe stone fruit complemented with further orchard fruit. Lots here, very good depth already now.

Lots of smoke and definition. Tension on the palate. That is rather amazing to it.
