This is a terrific vin! 17 years from grapes to glasses. Yezzir!
Always hard to find the 2004 on the label in the dark cellar, but knew it was there... Opened for a friends' wedding anniversary and our '04 California engagement, so those moments probably pulled an assist on our enjoyment.
Not a flaw in here. Sediment was collected and tannins were LONG AGO smooooothed out. So it drank like a fine old world silky dove. No idea why we just typed that, but we'll stay with it. No fruit bomb, it's sophisticated and supple, offering various new scents throughout the two and a half hours open, much of which, decanted- all along it invited the olfactory to please itself a little more...
Great mouth presence, medium bodied, well assembled, tail end finish of a walk off homer; put the stemware down and drop the mic!

A beautiful wine to celebrate a special milestone in our life. Extremely smooth and flavorful. The sediment collected on the side of the bottle so there is no need for decanting. A perfect example of a fine California Cabernet from one of favorite wineries. It is so nice to store a bottle for over a decade and enjoy it at its peak.

Our last of two bottles. No flaws. Mild sediment. Mild rim variation. Soft, classic California Cabernet nose. Soft, dark fruit and flowers. No tannin. Low alcohol. Low acid. Short finish. Think it has backed off a little bit compared to our 2012 taste. Think likely beyond peak but very drinkable. Would drink now.

Truly an enjoyable wine, opened and poured. Think this wine ready to drink now, not sure it will get much better. Deep, rich color was matched with a smooth nose and finish.
