  Decanted and poured. No real sediment . A daily simple but pleasant nose. A little bite in the first sip but evened out. Smooth and easy drinking without much remarkability to it, but pleasant enough for dinner with my wife on a quiet Sat night.
  Drink up.

  Powerful aromatics roared from the glass on first pour right after pulling the cork and never quit. I enjoyed the bottle but found it perplexing. Struggled to understand or pin down its flavors (later it reminded me more of Mencia than Pinot). It also had a mix of primary and more mature characteristics. One moment I thought I caught this in prime-time and the next I yearned for 20 more years of age.
