  • The 2014 iteration of Zaca Mesa's Z Cuvée is a deep ruby blend of 45% Grenache, 44% Mourvèdre, 9% Cinsault and 2% Syrah. Offering moderately intense aromas of mulling spices, raspberries and garrigue, it is a medium-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.2%) and softly tannic wine that is very easy to drink. The flavors mirror the nose and the mid-palate is nicely dense. Closing with a medium-length, spice-laden finish, this is a delightful wine at an equally delightful price. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2023.
