Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • From the moment the cork is removed, Pinot exudes from the bottle.

The color is a dark rich ruby with no browning at the edges.

A strong rich black cherry undertone with a freshness of plum and soft prominent tannins that linger on the palate with a silky texture. The fruit concentration is rich yet balanced producing a mouth-swell of pinot.

Structure, balance and oak all combine to present a wine that is classic burgundy Pinot.

As the bottle slowly empties, the wine softens but the concentrated Pinot character remains true.

A resident of Beaune once described wines of Chambolle Musigny to me as ‘seductive’......this wine is a perfect example of that description.
