(Bertagna Chambolle-Musigny Les Plantes) This also a little tight but shows some sweet red fruit. Fatter with good texture, lovely balance and good length. A very good wine.

(Bertagna Chambolle-Musigny) From old vines. Closed on the nose. Bigger in the mouth, good acidity and nicer tannins - a little more structured than the village Vougeot. Again from the mid-palate the fruit really shines - should be a really nice wine.

Chambolle Musigny Blind Tasting: A controversial wine. Half of the people thought this was corked. I did not think this was corked at all, even though there was definitely something a little off. Started like fish sauce, very shy and muted. Three hours later, it was a totally different wine showing some enjoyable red fruits, a hint of minerality but with an eggplant like aroma floating in the middle...This needs to be retasted.

Burgundy visit, Côte de Nuits, May 2009; 5/11/2009-5/13/2009 (Burgundy, France): Tasted at the Domaine -- Again, nice on the nose with good spicy aromatics. But on the palate I found it a bit lean -- altho there were nice dark chocolate and dried cherry elements there.
