There’s good depth of red berry and plum fruits here. It has some earthiness and a strand of licorice weaving through the flavour profile. It is creamy and finishes tight with plenty of savoury action.

Tasting at Domaine Dujac (Morey St Denis): Barrel tasting at domaine. Approachable and generous with round black cherry that has good lift and persistence. Tannins are already fine and seemingly integrated. 91-93 points.

Medium fruit, a bit earthy, wonderful finish, needs a few more years to reach 97 points...drinking at 94 points now.
