  Deep, warm and filling. The Christmas edition of Dujacs. Needed aggressive oxygenation to unfurl and then there are notes of purple plums, cherries, wood smoke, spices and doses of vanilla oak. Almost glossy. Better in 5 years but okay to go now.

  Blind tasting. Surprisingly polished tannins for its age, ripe dark fruit, chocolate and oak that needs more integration, but very competently made. Probably the rich 2018 vintage made this Dujac much more accessible. Aromatically I would still wait till 2030 for this wine as it will surely add more complexity.
