If you need a really cheap, but drinkable Chardonnay, it would be hard to find a better one than this. Very consistent from vintage to vintage. Pale gold-green color, faint nose of apples and oak. Not overly fruity, quite dry, good dose of oak. A little apple comes through on the finish. Nice varietal character. Sells for $5 or $6 where I live, which makes it a good candidate for a party wine. Easy drinking, undemanding, tasty.

Straw to apple juice and it has a shocking amount of apple for Chardonnay, particularity green apple. It's a bit overpowering. No butter or oak

Apple, caramel, that certain pinched Australian Chardonnay style. At Logan International waiting for a plane. Serviceable.
