  • Had this with a lot of different foods; ginger-garlic shrimp, tomato and herb relish, Triple Cream cheese, and pineapple, watermelon, and cantalope. The shrimp was a little salty, the tomatos acidic, and oddly enough, this wine brought all the foods into balance. However, and this is the big thing, once I sipped this on its own, it was appaarant it was not a good wine. It had a strange taste that I can't describe. Not recommended unless paired with strong flavored foods. This Chard has it's own strong flavor as well.

  • Nice nose with lots of melon, tropical, and apricot flavors all overlaying an apple juice quality.
