Two hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Plum, boysenberry, Gala apple, charred walnut, and brown sugar on the nose. Super smooth, very dry palate. Full tannins on the long finish.
This continued to improve over an hour of drinking, so it could use a longer decant at this stage.

Nine hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Lingonberry/boysenberry jam, pine tree sap, walnut, and maple syrup-drenched French toast on the woodsy, Bordeaux-like nose. Dense, tongue drying palate, with good acidity. Firm, full tannins on the medium long finish. Nice improvement over the past year, with room to grow in the coming year.

90 minute decant. Smell was amazing! Very fruit forward on first taste. Dark fruits with a bit of cocoa and mocha on the front end. Still a bit of tannins on the finish, but overall, a great wine. Drank a glass after decant and the. Left remainder in decanted for about another 2 hours. Definitely opened up more and finish was smoothed out with time. Delicious!
