D+0h: medium deposit in the filter, big chunks and deposit spray in the bottle, smells of blackberry and violets D+4h: purple red colour, smells of blackberry, eucalyptus and leather, has a certain bit of residual sugar, so not completely dry, smooth in the mouth, the 14,5 % alcohol are well integrated, medium body, in the mouth blackberry, a little bit of violets and a little bit of leather, in the aftertaste blackberry, violets, acidity and leather, good length (30 sec), really good red wine for the price.

New Year's resolution, drink more Portuguese. New World style/prices, Old World sensibility,
Nosel: Plush, aromatic, punchy. Dark black currant and plum skin, with a healthy dose of creamy, toasty oak. Underbelly of rustic bramble and cedar.
Pal: Full, but very well balanced. Med+ acidity and med+ grainy tannins hold the fruit together. Ripe blackberries, earthy spice and meatiness (syrah) and a rustic leathiness (PV). Full of energy. Not complex, but wonderfully drinkable.
Fin: Dark choc, wood and black olive tapenade.
