  • D+0h: medium deposit in the filter, big chunks and deposit spray in the bottle, smells of blackberry and violets D+4h: purple red colour, smells of blackberry, eucalyptus and leather, has a certain bit of residual sugar, so not completely dry, smooth in the mouth, the 14,5 % alcohol are well integrated, medium body, in the mouth blackberry, a little bit of violets and a little bit of leather, in the aftertaste blackberry, violets, acidity and leather, good length (30 sec), really good red wine for the price.

  • Good, nothing special though.

  • New Year's resolution, drink more Portuguese. New World style/prices, Old World sensibility,

Nosel: Plush, aromatic, punchy. Dark black currant and plum skin, with a healthy dose of creamy, toasty oak. Underbelly of rustic bramble and cedar.

Pal: Full, but very well balanced. Med+ acidity and med+ grainy tannins hold the fruit together. Ripe blackberries, earthy spice and meatiness (syrah) and a rustic leathiness (PV). Full of energy. Not complex, but wonderfully drinkable.

Fin: Dark choc, wood and black olive tapenade.
