Tasted with other Shiraz Cabernets. Beaten by 389 is no disgrace. A step up in class from previous wines tasted. Full mouth feel and excellent length. Vanilla and raspberry fruit. Mild minty notes and subtle smooth tannins. Cant believe I got these for $14/bottle. Drinking well, will improve for another 3-4 years at least.

Fruity and minty in the nose dominated mostly by shiraz characters; concentrated with ripe fruits and wood spices (again by shiraz) on the tight palate; very long finish; overall 88-89 points at this stage; still too young to be enjoyed.

Bright black cherries, cassis, raspberries, smoked cinnamon and toasty oak on the nose. A simple fruit focus wine. The Shiraz fruits render the palate with rich and spicy notes while the Cabernet provides the fresh mid-palate, strength and deep finish. Still need sometime for the elements to integrate better. No obvious out of balance problem for this young wine, which shows the art of skillful blending at the Winery. Should be delicious and smooth in a few years.
