So this tastes good. Plenty of botrytis spice, over-ripe apple, tangerine, mango. Pretty full-bodied. But not much complexity on this - shows all it's cards first time around.

Upon opening there is a nice chalkiness on the palate but that fades fairly quickly. It tastes great. Comparable notes. The principal knock is a lack of acidity.

Nice. The best part of this wine is an apricot compote or orange marmalade taste. That hits up front and in the middle. The attack gives the impressions that the wine might explode into beautiful things. It doesn't. The acidity is weak, just enough to merit an 89 rating. The weakness lies with the short finish. Nothing wrong with the wine. The original retail $35 was far fetched. At $20 it's a reasonable buy.

Wine Club: Fathers' Day Edition (Bowling Green, OH): Another great wine by CSM! It was described accurately as a baby Quarts de Chaume. Not super-complex, but balanced sweetness, just enough acidity to keep it honest, a great mouthfeel and a super-high delicious factor.
