The nose is pure saffron water. Lots of saffron in the palate too, and petrol, and fruit that’s halfway between apple and pineapple, with some orange too. Saffron petrol again on the finish. M+ acid, M body. Austere Nahe style, not so fruit driven, showing some age in a good way. Very good value for the WineText price, average value for the $30+ retail. Much better that the Tesch Karthauser I also got from WineText. 7.2/10

Decent Costco Riesling. Dry, austere style. A bit flabby on the finish. Citrusy.

Golden color.
Ripe citrus, tropical fruit aromas.
Rich palate, viscous, with flavors that match the nose. Med + acidity. A hint of bitterness on the finish.
Tasty!
