Tasted great with Bay Point Oysters on our anniversary. Paired it with 2008 Caymus Cabernet and our Chateau Brian’s. Amazing night but Megan might have been over served!

Purchased chilled last night from a small NY wine & liquor shop for $27.99. It was almost first aid considering the 99 degree temp at the time (about 110 THI). PnP. Nose dominated by lime. Light colored, medium to light bodied, minimal legs. Palate also has lots of lime with wet stones and a slightly sweet, honeyed tone just before the bracing acidity on the end. Finish is a bit short. Overall impression is clean, crisp and taut. Best if consumed quite cold, as a wine to drink when the alternative would be a Pilsner or a Mojito rather than a White Burgundy or a RRV chard. Passable accompaniment for fish or white meat chicken. Good for drinking under the circumstances I bought it, but I'd rate it below the Honig SB at a bit less and the Kim Crawford at much less. As an aside, with a limited selection of reasonably priced vendors in my environs here, this reminds me why I virtually never buy wine at full-priced retail, and how much less I'd drink if I did.

Napa Valley (Sunfish cellars): Served a touch too warm. This had grapefruit and minerals. It seemed crisp, almost sharp, and fresh with unripe fruit.
