Well made but only a modest wine. The right flavors are there in some degree, the balance and structure were adequate, although the use of a background residual sugar only accented the lack of distinction. Not a value.

Nearly translucent golden-hued grain in color. Lightly citrus-forward with an accompaniment of pear and dried apricot on the nose. Flint and dill appear on the palate. This is a subtle Sauvignon Blanc, not as tart and biting as many others. Intensely enjoyable and pairs well with a charcuterie platter, providing some balance to heavier meats and joining cheeses like parmesean and brie.

Very balanced and crisp. Flavors are a little softer than what I would expect from a California Sauv Blanc. Still, you could do a lot worse. Finish is smooth and tart and fairly long.

Eh, a quaffer, nothing to special here. Typical Napa SB.
Honig is a better buy.
