Very classy juice if of course very young. The use of stems here seamlessly absorbed by the sweet dark fruited core - silky tannins render this a perfectly drinkable young very nice red Burg and to our surprise the wine was finished rather quickly, always a good sign. With ten more years this could be very good.

Terlato Tasting (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Tasting, brief note. Tasted just after the "classique," this showed very similar character, perhaps some more black cherry in the mix, but clear bigger and more powerful, but also backward. Very impressive depth, but this needs time, probably until at least 2030, to show its full potential.

Château de la Tour Cellar Visit and Tasting (Day 9, Visit 1) (Clos Vougeot): Tasting at the domaine, in vertical of sorts, sitting on the deck overlooking the Clos. Just bottled two weeks ago. Black berry and cherry with some sweet red cherry hints. Intensely rich and concentrated with some blackberry jam on finish. Very long, fully engaging. 93-95 point potential.

Absolutely delicious now, juicy dark brambly fresh and intoxicatingly beautiful. Love it. Poised for greatness.
