Doré, brillant, épais, il semble épanoui et sans signe de fatigue. Au nez, la première impression est excellente, c’est net, propre, sudiste, légèrement ciré, acacias, fruité fin sur la pêche, poivre blanc, l’anis vient peu a peu; rien d’exubérant, l’intensité est moyenne.
Le vin montre ensuite une rondeur très sudiste, un toucher huileux, qu’il perd après aération, laissant place en finale à la salinité fine des terroirs calcaires. Là encore, intensité moyenne. Légers amers, fenouil, poivre, cire, lavande.
Un vin épanoui, dans la force de l’age: à boire sur un poisson grillé au fenouil!
