  Popped and poured. Lovely overt nose of black fruit, licorice and herbs. The palate is structured and bit juicy showing ripe plums, blackberry, and tobacco on the palate. There is pretty good structure here where I could see this developing for a while. Today it’s a simple delicious wine.

  Picota cubierto. Nariz intensa, con buena presencia, hay matices lácticos, toques mentolados, fruta roja, azúcar quemado... Perfumado. En boca tiene buen ataque, bastante afilado, tanino pulido, muy buena acidez, largo y bien definido.

  Decanted for 30 minutes. Dark purple in color, this wine (100% Touriga Nacional) reveals plum, vanilla, tobacco and burnt brioche on the nose. The mouth feel has firm, rich tannins that remained tight. The finish was long but the fruit struggled to emerge. 14% abv.
  
  Purchased for $65US, this wine has excellent bones but it clearly needs more time. Recommended to drink from 2022.
