  Still fresh. Very aromatic still, quite exuberant, with black and some blue fruit with floral tones. Touch of herbal/menthol too, but in a controlled way. Suggestion of fresh red meat too. Black pepper spice. Going back to it, there is even a hint of red vermouth aroma. Showing complexity still.
  
  Tannins are very fine indeed. A little grip, but really polished. Alcohol is controlled, the weight only really coming through on the finish after the layers of deep fruit and spice. Long finish. Drinking well now, will of course do well with years of ageing.
