Last of our bottles of this. Good to drink around Easter because the label is Easter egg blue. Golden straw hue. Cork popped a bit which was promising. Fine bubbles. Creme brûlée, almonds and honey lemon. Wow. This is so good. Oxidation aromas were even pleasant like a 30 year old Sauternes. Still lively. This was the best bottle of the 3 I had. Sad to see it go. Anyone have more? Highest recommendation. Our daughter, who has a good palate, said she detected an umami flavor. I didn’t but it was great !

Flash note. A flash note is one that I distinctly remember the quality/overall rating of a wine but can’t give specifics because the tasting note was not written at time of tasting.
So great to drink history. Aging very well this one. Lovely, easy to drink. Waning bubbles but excellent wine. Highly recommended

Sumner night on patio. Drank alongside fresh oysters on half shell. Really good. Deep golden hue. Medium body. Great texture and still lively. Carmel, Baked sourdough and earth followed by a mild lemon streak mid palate. Pleasing finish. Well recommended

I know form other notes that some bottles of this are still drinking well but this one was a bit tired. Still showing some bubbles and tight acidity but the fruit was out taking a hike and the grassy flavors emerging in a not totally pleasant way. Plus, it had the misfortune to be paired with a 90 Krug that was showing much better.
