Harsh finish. Not a whole lot of fruit in there either. For 2005, which was a very nice vintage in the Santa Rita Hills, this is not a befitting representative. I believe this is the vintage after Bruno had left and thus, the dropoff in quality. Suprisingly dark and also hot on the pallette. The subtleties are all lost here. Hether would not drink this wine, I'm sure of it...

I haven't been a fan of pinot noir for quite a few years, but this bottle was so good that even I could appreciate it!
