Stunning. Don't let the designation full you - this is firmly in dessert wine territory - TBA would have been quite appropriate IMHO. The wine is packed with white cherries, pineapple and peach fruit - the concentration is stunning, the balance more so. The finish keeps going and going. Probably 15-20 years from prime drinking but so delicious today. Dessert in a bottle.

I had this wine five years ago and was suitably impressed. Time has certainly worked some magic because it is now stunning. The color is a beautiful burnished gold that lightens to Persian buttercup at the edge. The nose is sweet with pineapple, peach, melon and grapefruit. Beneath the fruit aromatics are petrol, jasmine, smoke and lanolin components. Very luscious, almost oily in the mouth, the concentrated flavors of tropical fruits, peach, apricot and orange are very ripe with sufficient (medium-high) acidity to keep everything in balance. And there is a long and satisfying finish to boot. This is drinking perfectly at the moment, yet its weight, spine and poise suggest a long and bright future. Delicious.

Brilliant again, especially on the 2nd night. Powerful, yet weightless. Very long. Disappearing way too fast.
