Nose: Red fruit like sweet cherries, cranberries and a little bit of sour oak.
Palate: Dark fruits of cherries, currants, deep earth and the same oak from the nose.
Medium, clear Ruby. Slightly dry with some sweetness. Little to low tannins. Medium body with light-plus acidity. Decent finish of about 4-5 seconds. Has a little bit of heat. Good for the price, not as good as the Cabernet Sauvignon though. Still, with about an hour decanting, this will be good. Good quality to price.

Garnet, good clarity, short to medium legs. Aromas are dark & red berry:blackberry, cranberry, raspberry, with hint of light toast. On the palate, berry persists and on night 1 strawberry & cherry emerged as the wine opened up in the glass. Light-medium body, very linear/straightforward texture. Finish is short with low acidity. Impression: basic wine, no complexity, no emergence of spice typical of Shiraz. A pop and pour. At $3 from TJs, for a basic wine, QPR is above average. A potential party wine. Drink now.

Simple and a little sweeter than I like, but fine for the price

Kind of flat, flabby, and sweet. Could see using this for Sangria. Did not finish.
