  A bit more gold than expected at this stage but not premoxed. Medium expressive nose displaying ripe sweet yellow fruit, clementine, baked apple, pineapple, marzipan, honey, a hint of light caramel, sweet spices, and limestone. Very good concentration, generous sweet ripe yellow fruit, rich, opulent and deeply toned, good acidity, medium mineral, and a medium long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with honey at the end. I am surprised by how ripe and evolved this bottle is.

  Belle robe montrant peu d’évolution. Un nez floral, avec des poires, des herbes fraîches. Attaque douce et fraîche, suivie d’un milieu de bouche puissant, plus droit que gras, avec une énergie sèche, pierreuse, s’étirant dans une belle finale presque tannique, qui s’impose avec prestance et race.
  
  On lui a trouvé une droiture tendue, qui a amené ma douce sur un grand Chablis. Je m’y serais peut-être fait prendre aussi. C’est jeune bien sûr et on sent qu’il en a sous la pédale pour en donner encore plus dans 3 à 5 ans. 93+ pts

  Équilibre, fraîcheur, tendu avec un beau gras, belle texture et longueur digne de son rang. Quelle belle bouteille!! 93-94

  La patience de porteur de la bouteille a porté fruit: un Meursault de finesse maintenant équilibré vu l’atténuation des notes d’élevage/de réduction.

  Pear, almond, flowers on the nose. The palate is somewhat soft and broad, as if spreading itself out fully relaxed. It's not lacking in acidity and is still fresh and lively, but the gentle heft of Meursault is on display here. The finish is the highlight at the moment though; it goes on and on, building new layers of flavor atop the last. Impressive wine, in a clear and elegant style. May very well continue to age, but it's hard to argue with how it's drinking now.
