This wine is drinking really well now. Vegetal notes in the bouquet, very complex and pleasant but hard to pin down: perhaps beatroot or red cabbage, with a touch of overripe fruit. On the palate there's pepper and perhaps some leatheriness. A twist of tannins in the finish but not as much as I remember from the bottle of this I tried two years ago.
Elegant, very balanced wine and was a real pleasure to drink with duck breast and apple sauce

(at Seasonal – NYC) This was a complete surprise. Recommend by our server – refreshing, balanced, medium bodied and interesting. Just great moderately priced wine. Not thought provoking, but in no way boring. (88)
