  A little disappointing. I don't know if the wine just needs more time or if I have a bad day at tasting wine, but the wine tastes very flat and one-dimensional. It starts with some fruit, but this quickly fades and is overshadowed by acidity and the mineral iodine note. This then remains in the finish, but beyond that, there is not much in the wine for me. It is not inharmonious but it lacks for me completely depth and complexity - I found the 2016 Klostergarten far better.
  
  Update: After some hours of air the fruit develops much more nicely and the wine gets some depth I was missing. Much more pleasant right now - I am curious if its gettint better in the next couple of days.

  Medium perfumed nose. Dry, high acidity and tannic, red cherry and strawberry. Light medium body and finish.
