Good, straightforward Ridge Zin. Purple fruit. Typical Ridge flavor profile. Very nice, but not a great one. Probably on the later side of it's life. Drink over the next few years.

Decanted and enjoyed. Sweet cherry nose, well balanced zin almost cab like. Hints of oak. Perfect with a post Thanksgiving Friendsgiving turkey dinner.

Full body deep burgundy color. Modestly leggy. Interesting bouquet of orange, apricot, stone, some floral notes. Initially very meaty. Two hours later, the balance has come more into focus with the meatiness receded with an added real ZING down below. Pretty full bodied, this would overpower many foods, tannins well integrated not chewy almost smooth. A tiny bit overripe/jammy. Alcohol peeks out a bit but not much. Pretty solid. I don’t see this improving from here, both nose and palate are a little distant. Not complex but for what it is, a nice sipper.
