Garagiste Warehouse Tasting: Thomas Calder (Seattle, WA): The nose of this wine made the wine seem like it was going to be tart. Cranberry and some brett aromas. The palate was very complex and unusual, but I didn't enjoy it very much. Several in the group were really intrigued by this wine, but it just wasn't one for me.

I'm with Marc (though my batch seems to have been cleaner; no brett for me). This is the first Trousseau I've found in Puffeney's league -- nice sap, pure red fruits, nice acid for those of us so-inclined -- though I'd still give the nod to Jacques.

Comme son collègue le Poulsard, un bon vin avec un caractère. Mais la même remarque concernant la longueur s'applique dans son cas.

Light in color and alcohol with a nice floral nose and also some cherry. The taste is tart pie cherries with some good acidity.

Delicious, red fruits, herb, barnyard (on the light side), very subtle tannin and lively acids. Great with beef burgundy.
24 hours open and still very tasty. Cranberry fruit and a peppercorn spicy finish. Looking forward to trying the 2005 version.
