Nose of cloves and earth. On the palate there is sweet dark cherries that is bold and intense. Ends with notes of earth and bitter melon. The wine is enjoyable but seems closed. Even on the second day the wine seems still closed. There is balance in the wine but not sure how this will develop.

Deep and dank (positive) nose of dark cherry, anise, clove and forest floor, although it takes for this to develop. This wine is still tight, even with 2-3 hours in the decanter and consumed slowly over an evening. Medium-bodied, with bold acidity and a mineral streak, the wine exhibits a range of cherry flavors, with some secondary complexities (herbs, licorice). Needs another 2-3 years.

Nose - pretty raspberries, lite earth tones & more red fruit. I sense a lil herbs but can't distinguish. Some lite pepper 2.
Palate - lite on the palate @ 1st. nice ripe red fruit & a beautiful burst of fruit on the finish. A touch of vanilla cola 2 that I really like. I love how clean this is. The vibrant fruit hangs on ur palate 2 like a fresh plum.
Having w/ribeye & garlic mashers. I had read somewhere that pinot goes great w/steak & thought what the hell. Its a great pairing! The acidity cut right through the fat but the fruit stays with u & complements the meat! I gotta say ive had a lot of cabs & merlots that clashed w/the big tannins but the pinot was beautiful!
