Ready to enjoy, yet amazingly youthful at 9 years old. A fresher more nuanced Napa Cab. Fresh ripe boysenberry, raspberry, and blackberry with light well-integrated oak.

After a 90 minute decant, the 2014 Spare Me offers raspberry, bramble, citrus and a touch of herbs on the palate. It’s medium weight and maybe a little dilute, with a soft texture, a mild tannic bite and medium-long finish. For me, a nice change of pace from many of the heavier, blue-black Cabernets that I drink. Almost like a Pinot with a backbone. Surprised to be the first to post a review.
