  • Nice property from the gravelly terroir SE of Martillac. Expresses its location nicely with floral and meaty notes on the nose, with dark plum, berry and graphite on the palate, and chalky tannins on the finish. Mid-weight and easy-drinking, although this will hold for 5-10 years. Much cleaner than the last bottle I had ('15). All in all a very fairly priced, accessible, expressive glass.
