  (LISINI Rosso di Montalcino) Montalcino Dear Friends, Here's a wine that was supposed to go out on Wednesday of last week but (in my cleansing Savoie haze), this was the odd man out. So, here it is on a Saturday at a price abandoned long ago by Lisini. This was going to be a major offer but the quantities ended up to be too small. 2004 was a terrific year in Montalcino and this wine (while a lighter version of the Brunello), is certainly worth your time and effort at approximately 50% off the normal price. We do not have much of this - please limit requests to 12/person but it may end up as 3-6/person after allocation. ONE SHIPMENT ONLY at this tarrif with perfect provenance (we cannot get s second shipment): 2004 Lisini Rosso di Montalcino ...also set to arrive, this wedding/party special - nothing like pouring from a 5.0lt bottle at the head table of an event: 2005 Cascina Chicco Barbara "Bric Loria" 5.0lt (only 6 for the entire US - it's not from Montalcino but...) Both arrive in a week or two - they will be available for local pick up in March (due to posting laws). Both will ship during the spring shipping season (weather permitting).
