  Decanted for 2 hours, this merlot has more Cabernet Sauvignon characteristics than half of the cabs made out there. Powerful black cherry and floral aromatics followed by a firmly structured combination of blueberry fruit, cherry pie and spice. Finish was tight.

  One of my favorite drinking wines from my trip to Montepulciano. This is a bold Merlot with an earthy nose followed by notes of blackberries and a different style of oak.
