  • Yellow-golden color; aromatic, petrol, white stone fruits, tropical fruits, slight minerality; palate shows low alcohol (9%), medium-plus acidity with slight lemony tang, prominent but balanced sweetness, some white stone fruits, fades through the midpalate; finish is surprisingly short, completely gone within seconds. This was promising on the nose and palate with good depth, complexity, and balance, but the finish is so oddly short that it makes the whole wine seem more like juice than wine. Enjoyable, but not at $40 with so many other good rieslings out there. 87
Day 2: Slightly better, with more length on the finish than yesterday. No oxidation or decline at all. Still has plenty of fruits on the palate including some tropical fruits like mango. 88-89
