Strawberry rhubarb, nutmeg, and tar. Tawny color, with nice soft acidity. Flavors of dark cherry with a soft white pepper finish. Amazing soft texture.

Blueberry and raspberry fruit. A little thin on the palate initially, but finds its structure after a few minutes. Cedar and forest floor finish, leaning to lightly acidic.
6/12/2023 The fruit in this is wonderful, raspberry, blueberry, and plum. There's a brightness to it, but stops short of the tartness I sometimes get with Loring. Nice earthiness and cedar to the finish. Maybe deserves higher than my initial 90 score.

So many stories. Nosed this Loring for 20 minutes before I tasted. Dusty like the decomposed granite path in front of my in law's house. Warm like my baby's smile. Cranberry like thanksgiving. Spice like a warm gingerbread cookie. Like home.
Soft cranberry, strawberry, and orange zest like a dry sangria. Juicy acidity like cool lemonade on a hot day. Evergreen like holding hands in a Christmas tree lot. Earthy like grandpa Jack's farm. Like your best memories.
Complete.

Fresh raspberries, strawberries, fresh green herbs. Some cedar wood and a hint of vanilla from the oak; but it stops well shy of the cola notes that some CA PNs have. Medium bodied with medium + acidity and well balanced, medium tannin. I would give this at least two more years of bottle age.
Good; but not spectacular, pairing with a grilled ribeye.
