Very tasty wine. Nice to meet Shirley Roy in TX today. 64% CS, 25% Merlot, 11% PV. Intense with ripe red fruits, approachable. Good length and balance. Etoh 14.2 without overly oaky notes. This will keep well. Certainly some youthfulness to shed until it behaves like the charming 14, but not a shame to open now

10 hour decant which was absolutely necessary- this is a big, bold and well balanced wine with a nice grippy finish that lasts for 45 seconds. Great upside potential and should reach its prime in 10 years. This would benefit from an overnight decant at this point. I’d recommend 20-24 hours of decanting at this point. Very well made and enjoyable wine.
