Wow, what QPR. The rating is agnostic of price. Tighter with more focus than 5 years ago. Excellent acidity and herbal notes. An absolute perfect pairing with Mark Bittman's scallop recipe - stuffed with basil/garlic/salt/pepper/EVOO and thrown on the charcoal grill for a few minutes. Accompanied by simple but delicious sour cream and chive mashed potatoes. Nice NYE dinner with family before popping a bottle of bubbly.
I had half. Drunk over one night. Vvv

Decanted and now 2h later. Aromas of tart and ripe apples, Meyer lemon, herbs and minerals. Palate is similar with nice minerals and sea sprya with a nice finish. Excellent acids balances out the fruit. Palate is a bit unfocused but still lovely. Drinking so well now.

From memory. PnP. Tart apples, lemon zest, and some melon with rounded creamy texture. Nice acids give the wine life. Simpler and doesn't have the minerality or the electric acids of Briords or Clisson. Still a very nice value and enjoyed this with some charcuterie and cheeses. 87+

Classic and delish. Subtle nose of seaspray, green and white fruits, and lettuce. Very stoney on the palate, with quite nice length and intensity, especially considering how inexpensive it is. Always a go. Love La Pepiere.

Some lemon up front that moves very quickly into the broad core with some sauv blanc-ish grassiness and salinity. Good mouthfeel. The expected sharp, bracing acidity in back.
