Lively medium colour; spices and rose petals, minerally depth; well-rounded but not voluptuous, ripe but not too sweet, medium-weight, drying bitters on the long finish. Perfect with a traditional quiche lorraine with a green salad.

Picked this up locally, acidity is far gone, wine flat but still has some of round fruit flavors.

Varietally correct, clear, clean and pretty. Very enjoyable. Not completely dry but close.

Unreal German, Alsacian and Loire wines with Thai lunch... (Bellevue, WA, USA): Mandarin orange on the nose. Oily, spicy, with white pepper and clove on the palate. Medium finish. Nice with the food but a bit heavy and clumsy compared to all of the gorgeous riesling enjoyed alongside it.

Fantastic nose with notes of pear and peach but it held a little something back on the finish I thought. Perhaps it needs time. 89 points.
